The SmokeHaus Chicken

For Frozen Chickens:
Option 1: For chickens thawed overnight in the refrigerator. About one and half hours before you wish to serve, remove chicken from foil and place in a glass casserole dish or roasting pan and bake at 250° F until warmed through. Pull the thigh away from the breast and check and see if this area is hot to the touch.

Option 2: For chickens thawed overnight in the refrigerator. About one hour before you wish to serve, cut the chicken into pieces and place them in a glass casserole dish in one layer and bake at 250° F until hot enough to serve.

Option 3: for chickens hard frozen About three hours before you wish to serve, remove chicken from foil and place in a glass casserole dish and bake at 225°F for two hours. Raise temperature to 250°F for the last hour until warmed through. Pull the thigh away from the breast and check and see if this area is hot to the touch.


For Refrigerated Chickens:
Option 1: About one hour before you wish to serve, remove chicken from foil and place in a glass casserole dish or roasting and bake at 250°F until warmed through or until you can no longer resist the aroma of our hickory-smoked wonderfulness.

Option 2: Serve cold, in pieces or sliced for sandwiches.
